This is Fae. She is adorable! She is also the daughter of some awesome friends of mine, Hannah and Connor. Hannah and Fae were visiting from Bristol, UK and I was so excited when she asked me to photograph her daughter. We had a fun time at the Leaning Pine Arboretum on the Cal Poly campus. I love this place. Also, don't you love her dress? Hannah made it!!!

Resse Joy's Birth Day - San Luis Obispo, Ca.
Becky (Resse's mom) and I were friends in high school. We had lost touch through the years but thanks to Facebook have reconnected, and I am so glad that we did. I had been wanting to photograph a birth for a long time, but it's something that not a lot of people are requesting (I really don't know why) so I had posted on FB that I was looking for expecting mothers that would let me have the honor of capturing the birth of their coming baby. Becky replied to my request. Becky and her husband Nick are high school sweethearts and together they now have three beautiful children, and all of them were natural births. Becky recently shared her birth story on Facebook and gave me permission to share it also with you all. You can read it HERE.

Smith Family Portraits - San Luis Obispo, Ca.
I am sure you recognize this family :) Rhyley has gotten so big and soooo CUTE!
We did these photos long before Christmas, but they asked me to not share them with all of you until after the holiday has passed. They used them for their Christmas cards and wanted it to be a surprise. So of course I am so happy to be able to finally share the wonderfulness that is the Smith family. I hope you enjoy Rhyley's adorable smile :)
