We are currently in the process of building a new website. It's hard work, but coming along and will be awesome. It's fun learning this stuff though, Jesse and I high five when we figure out something that was really difficult. Today has been spent in front of the computer, we are taking a quick break now and then back to it. 

In other news, Jude turned one on Wednesday. We took him to the Monterey Bay Aquarium...he LOVED it! Time has gone so fast.

Moreno Maternity with the Mamiya 645

Mamiya 645 - Whale Rock Reservoir

Jesse and I bought a new camera the other day, a Mamiya 645 medium format film camera to be exact. It is awesome. There is something about film that makes me feel creative. The anticipation of what your photograph is going to look like is like Christmas morning. But with this camera it's so fun to use I almost wouldn't care if non of my pictures came out, I just really like using it. 

Here is a picture I took out at Whale Rock Reservoir in Cayucos. You might recognize this place from Akin and Medha's pictures below:

This is exactly what the picture looked like out of the camera, no editing. Great color, and great clarity. I am in love all over again!

Akin and Medha Engagement Ceremony - Morro Bay, Ca

Akin and Medha are amazing. Jesse and I were having such a good time taking pictures of them, I forgot that I was working. This was our first Indian Engagement Ceremony and oh was it cool. Thank you Akin and Medha for inviting us to partake in your day. I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I do.  

Alysia Moreno Maternity - San Luis Obispo, Ca

You may recognize Jovi and Alysia from their wedding. Well, they are expecting another daughter and I was so excited to photograph them again. We started out at Montana De Oro in Los Osos and then moved to SLO to photograph at an abandoned barn I had always wanted to go to, but never have. I was stoked! 

A-Town Skatepark, Atascadero, Ca

Jesse and I have been taking some pictures at the A-Town Skate Park of the kids doing what they do best...we have some awesome talent in this area. 

This is something we volunteer to do, to help raise some money to better the park. The A-Town Skate Park is a wonderful asset to the community and it is something that Jesse and I feel is important. We need more places that are safe for kids. 

Kevin Campion runs the skate park and he is also an owner in Ally Company - Screenprinting, where Jesse is the head screen printer. Kevin is doing a great job with this park and we really enjoy helping out.
